My Adventures in Self-hosting
I had 2 coding related new-years resolutions. Master python and make everything selfhosted. This post is about the second goal.
What programs do I use as a sysadmin?

School and what is going wrong
- Shouldn’t be required if you plan and make your lessons good
- atleast keep it short. Don’t make people work 1 hour on exercises from which they don’t learn a lot because you rush through it.
- TIP if you want to be the best teacher: do not give any homework. Your pupils will love you.
- Do not spend half the lesson revising homework. Use that lesson to tell your pupils the things that they need to know.
Java for Minecraft, good or bad?
I have been asking myself this question a lot: was using java a good idea for minecraft.
Ever read rfc’s? no? me neither…
Today i finally got my cables together to reconnect my old wii. After having some problems with composite cables not working on my tv it finally worked. I used letterbomb from hackmii to root my wii and install homebrew channel. After having nothing show up in there i finally found out that you needed homebrew browser to install stuff without a sd card. That luckily worked first try. The next day i downloaded ctgp-r for custom tracks with mario kart and that worked too! I was however a bit disappointed by the quality of most homebrew maps but there were so many so i haven’t tried all of them. Currently it was fully worth it to mod my wii.

Well, some time ago i started hearing more and more about discord as a “Skype for gamers”
One day i opened up my filezilla client and i found out that hostinger(my host) moved my website again! I knew it was time for change so i started to read up about github pages, i found out that it supported jekyll but at that time i had never heard of it.
